Fall 2019 Submissions Closed -- Stay Tuned for the Spring 2020 submission deadline.
CRR not only publishes work featuring original and powerful writing about the human experience. We publish writers at all levels, emerging and established.
We accept submissions of 1-3 poems and fiction up to 900 words or so (small/flash/short short/micro/sudden). Simultaneous submissions accepted. However, please notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere. No previously published work. We accept submissions only through Submittable. All submissions received by mail or email will be discarded. Sorry, but no exceptions. There are no fees to submit, and we cannot offer to pay writers for their work at this time. Chagrin River Review acquires first rights for publication in multiple formats. Upon publication, rights revert to the author. Chagrin River Review reserves the right to reprint the work if it is selected for inclusion in a Chagrin River Review print anthology at a later date, and to archive the work online. We do allow submissions by writers affiliated with Lakeland Community College, but cannot offer any special treatment. SUBMIT TO CHAGRIN RIVER REVIEW (Submissions are temporarily closed) |
